01 // BENEFITS

Doors counted in labour hours.

Six benefits translated into what a production manager counts: material cost, labour time per unit and downtime. Where we are still collecting data, we say so plainly.

01

Sensible entry cost

We quote the material price for your construction in reply to your enquiry, together with a schedule of profile lengths. Material usage for every following order you can work out yourself from the cutting list in Fenster AI.

PURCHASE
02

About 5 labour hours*

Indicative total labour time of everyone involved in one single-leaf door with frame. This is working time, not order lead time. The scope of the measurement is in the footnote.

LABOUR TIME
03

Magnetic lock

For doors with lever handles the system provides for a lock with a magnetic latch. We select the lock model and hardware with you at the quotation stage. Details in the Solutions section.

02 // VARIANTS

One ST30 base, three variants.

ST Modern, ST Heritage and ST Sound are built on the same ST30 leaf and differ in glass divisions, glass and accessories. ST30 is a system for interior use: doors, screens and fanlights.

01

ST Modern

PLAIN FRAME

A leaf made from the 30 × 25 mm profile with a minimum of divisions and a short cutting list. For doors and screens where a slim frame line and repeatable production matter.

  • 30 × 25 mm profile, 1.5 mm wall (nominal dimensions)
  • Corner cut at 45°, butt-jointed
  • Doors, screens and fanlights
02

ST Heritage

GLAZING BARS AND DIVISIONS

Glass divisions inspired by early 20th-century industrial joinery. More panes do not mean more calculating: Fenster AI works out glazing bar lengths and glass sizes.

  • Structural or applied glazing bars
  • Glazing bar lengths on the cutting list
  • Sections for approvals — on request
03

ST Sound

FOR ACOUSTIC GLASS

A variant prepared for acoustic glass. The result depends on the glass, threshold and seals, and the Fenster AI calculator (beta) estimates the Rw of the whole construction before you quote it.

  • Indicative, calculated estimate
  • Shows which element limits the result
  • Calculator in beta, access on request

The images above are visualisations showing what the system can do, not photographs of completed projects. We will replace them with photographs of real installations as soon as they exist.

Whether joinery is acceptable in a listed or historic building is decided by the relevant conservation authority. On request we will prepare sections and drawings for approval. The Rw from the calculator is a calculated estimate, not a test result to EN ISO 10140.

02.1 // SOLUTIONS

Non-standard doors without designing from scratch.

Pivot, sliding and magnetic-lock doors eat up time before the first cut: drawing the detail and hunting for hardware. In ST30 the details are developed, and we select the hardware with you.

01

Pivot doors

ON A PIVOT AXIS

The leaf turns on a pivot rather than on hinges. The detail is developed; the workshop drawing and hardware selection are prepared for the specific order. Pricing is individual.

  • Pivot axis in the leaf
  • Leaf weight and size — per the hardware manufacturer's data
02

Sliding doors

ON A TRACK

The leaf slides on a track. The detail is developed; we choose the track type and hardware with you at the quotation stage, and you receive the workshop drawing with the quote.

  • Track matched to the leaf weight
  • Permissible load — per the track manufacturer's data sheet
03

Magnetic lock

FOR DOORS WITH LEVER HANDLES

The system allows for a lock with a magnetic latch operated by a lever handle. We select the lock model, handle and hardware with you when quoting.

  • Magnetic latch, lever-operated
  • Lock and handle selection — in the quote

Permissible sizes and weights of pivot and sliding leaves are given solely from the hardware manufacturer's data, with the source stated. Pivot and sliding doors in the ST30 system are not yet in the Fenster AI catalogue — drawings and quotes are prepared individually. As of October 2026.

02.2 // ST30 PROFILE

The ST30 profile, technical data.

Leaf and fixed light from the ST30 profile, plus a frame, glazing bead, glazing bars and gasket matched to ST30. Dimensions are nominal until the technical data sheet is published.

WHAT'S IN THE PROFILE

30 × 25 mm section

ST30.001 leaf: 30 × 25 mm section, 1.5 mm wall (nominal dimensions). Corner cut at 45°, butt-jointed.

Glazing rebate

The glazing rebate is part of the profile and the glass is held by a glazing bead. The bead goes on the cutting list with the profiles, so you cut it from the same schedule.

Structural glazing bar

ST30.013 glazing bar — a 30 × 33 mm T-section (nominal). It divides the glass into panes in ST Heritage and goes on the cutting list like any other profile in the system.

Sections in Fenster AI

ST30 sections are in the Fenster AI catalogue. They generate technical drawings with sections, the cutting list and the glass schedule for every construction.

03 // PRODUCTION

Four steps from bar to door.

From cutting the profiles to a door ready for installation. Painting falls between welding and glazing and is not included in the labour hours*. Dimensions come from the Fenster AI cutting list.

5hrs*Indicative total labour time for one single-leaf door with frame. Working time, not lead time; scope in the footnote.
  1. 01

    45° cutting

Lengths and cutting angles come from the Fenster AI cutting list, calculated from the construction drawing. The dimension goes from design to saw without retyping.

  2. 02

    Assembly

You assemble the leaf and frame from profiles cut at 45° and butt-jointed, in one line. The lengths of all parts come from the same cutting list.

  3. 03

    Weld and grind

You weld the corner along the joint and then grind the weld. You choose the welding method to suit your workshop's equipment; the time for this step depends on it too.

  4. 04

    Glass and hardware

After painting (not in the hours*) you set the glass in the profile rebate and fix it with a glazing bead, then fit the hardware. Glass sizes come straight from the glass schedule, so you can order the glass earlier.

04 // FENSTER AI

Draw it once, the rest is calculated.

Fenster AI is online software for joinery manufacturers. The quote, cutting list and glass schedule all come from the same drawing. Access to the software and the range of modules are agreed individually with each workshop.

01

Designer with an AI assistant

DESIGNER

Doors, screens and fanlights: dimensions, mullions, transoms, glazing bars, lock cases, handles, threshold and RAL colour. The AI assistant turns a description or a photo of a sketch into a drawing, and you check the result.

02

Quote and PDF offer

SALES

Quotes calculated from the drawing using your price list, with individual customer discounts and offer versions. Your customer receives a PDF with a drawing of each item, or a link to accept the offer online.

03

Cutting list and glass schedule

PRODUCTION

Lengths, 45° and 90° angles and profile quantities, plus glass sizes — all calculated from the drawing. Cutting list and glass schedule as PDFs, ready to print for the shop floor.

04

Material ordering

PRODUCTION MODULE

The materials store deducts usage from the cutting list and shows shortages. From them you create a profile order for your supplier — including us — and send it by e-mail as a PDF.

05

Kiosk and labour time

PRODUCTION MODULE

An RFID kiosk records time at workstations and the production board shows deadlines and delays. You can compare labour time with the job costing. Requires a tablet and an RFID reader.

06

Acoustics: Rw estimate

BETA // ON REQUEST

The calculator estimates the Rw (C; Ctr) of a construction from the choice of glass, threshold and opening type, and shows which element limits the result. An indicative calculated estimate; not a test result.

What AI does and what the algorithm does: lengths and glass sizes are calculated by an algorithm from the construction geometry, and prices from your price list — not by a language model. AI works as an assistant in the designer and, in the production module, helps analyse data and read delivery notes. You check and approve its output. Instructions, sketches and documents passed to AI features are sent to an external language model.

Fenster AI

The software runs in the browser, with nothing to install. The production module and beta features are available on request; beta features may change. As of October 2026.

05 // TESTING

System testing, status as of October 2026.

We will publish results and report numbers once we receive them. Each result will apply to the tested configuration: variant and size.

Today the testing is in progress. We do not declare performance characteristics such as strength or sound insulation until we have the report in hand — we would rather say “not yet” than leave you exposed in front of your client.

06 // PARTNERSHIP

You get a system, not just a profile.

Besides the material we offer access to Fenster AI on individually agreed terms, plus technical support. The system technical data sheet is in preparation.

01

Enquiries from clients

If a client or architect asks us about ST30 doors in your area, we can pass on your contact details. The rules are agreed when we start working together; we do not promise a number of orders.

02

System documentation

You generate technical drawings with sections, the cutting list and the glass schedule in Fenster AI. The system technical data sheet is in preparation.

03

Technical support

Questions about a non-standard detail, hardware selection or an approval drawing come straight to us, and you get an answer based on your own order.

ENQUIRY // FORM

We will use the data from this form solely to reply to your enquiry. Details: privacy policy.

* Indicative total labour time (the sum of everyone's working hours) to make one single-leaf ST Modern door of approx. 900 × 2100 mm, with leaf and frame, without glazing bars — from cutting the profiles to a glazed door with hardware fitted, ready for installation. It does not include design and quoting, painting and drying, packing, transport or installation on site. It is working time, not order lead time. The time in your workshop depends on equipment (including the welding method), team experience, and the size and divisions of the leaf. The value is not a commitment or a guarantee.

The Rw estimate in Fenster AI (Acoustics module, beta) is an indicative calculation for a specific configuration of glass, threshold and opening type. It is not a test result to EN ISO 10140 nor a declared characteristic of the product, and it does not describe sound insulation in a building, which depends on installation and the surrounding wall.

Images labelled VISUALISATION show what the system can do, not completed projects. We will replace them with photographs as soon as they exist.
